No. Dreamie sets up entirely on the device. Connect to Wi-Fi, pair Bluetooth headphones, and set alarms and schedules directly with Dreamie. Updates and new content are delivered over Wi-Fi, and data stays on the device, encrypted. In fact, we don't have accounts or subscriptions either.
Dreamie uses a custom, ultra-dark display built for bedrooms. It dims to near-black at night, offers an optional redshift mode, and shows only essentials like time and alarm status, no feeds or notifications. You can hide the clock, and you can choose whether the display turns off when idle or stays ultra-dim, so the room is as dark as you prefer.
Dreamie's Sleep Insight uses contactless sensors to monitor your sleep stages, movements, and environmental factors like temperature and noise, providing a full picture of your sleep habits without any devices on your body. Motion data and noise levels are stored locally and encrypted. Dreamie does not record audio or transmit sensor data to the cloud. This is an optional feature and can be disabled.
Sleep insights are coming Q1 2026.
You can pair Bluetooth headphones with Dreamie for private listening. Podcasts, sleep content, and alarms play to your headphones while the room stays quiet, no phone required. For comfort in bed, we recommend low-profile, sleep-friendly headphones. If you choose headphone-only alarms, make sure your headphones are charged and connected before sleep.
No accounts or sign-ins. No names or emails. Data stays on-device (encrypted). No ads or selling data. Only limited, device-ID telemetry for reliability, improvement, and over-the-air updates.
